Toltrazuril

Overview：
Tuoqu Zhuli belongs to the triazine ketone compound, which is a novel broad-spectrum and specialized anti coccidiosis drug. Toltrazuril is a white or off white crystalline powder; Odorless. Dissolve in ethyl acetate or dichloromethane, slightly soluble in methanol, insoluble in water.

Mechanism of action：
The mechanism of action of Tuoqu Zhuli is to interfere with the nuclear division and mitochondria of coccidiosis, affecting the respiratory and metabolic functions of the parasite, and causing the endoplasmic reticulum of cells to swell, resulting in severe vacuolization and death of the coccidiosis. It mainly acts on the reproductive stages of coccidiosis and gamete reproduction. Bioactive Tocilizumab is an antiprotozoal agent that is active against coccidian parasites.
In vitro research：
Toltrazuril is an antiprotozoal drug that acts against coccidian parasites. Toltrazuril induces subtle structural changes during the developmental stage of nematodes, mainly due to swelling of the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus, as well as abnormalities in the surrounding nuclear space, which interfere with nuclear fission. Toltrazuril leads to a decrease in parasitic respiratory enzymes.

Used as an anti coccidian drug.
