Rivaroxaban
Appearance: White crystalline powder
Solubility: soluble in chloroform, DMSO (87 mg/ml, 25 ℃), water (<1 mg/ml, 25 ℃), and ethanol (<1 mg/ml, 25 ℃).
Melting Point:228-229°C
Specific rotation: -38 to -42 °
Content: 99%
Usage: Rivaroxaban is a highly selective oral medication that directly inhibits factor Xa. Inhibition of factor Xa can interrupt the endogenous and exogenous pathways of coagulation cascade, inhibiting the production of thrombin and thrombus formation. Rivaroxaban does not inhibit thrombin (activating factor II), nor has it been proven to have an effect on platelets. Rivaroxaban is used in adult patients undergoing elective hip or knee replacement surgery to prevent venous thrombosis (VTE).
